After watching Luis Sinco's "The Marlboro Marine" I just felt numb all over. For photography and audio to able to instill in a person a sense of the story is so powerful and something I strive to do one day for my readers or viewers. The Multimedia winners for the pictures of the year also deserve much praise. It’s amazing what a camera can capture. That single moment in history can be such a powerful statement. That is our job and what we should strive to do, we should be able to capture that single breathtaking moment in history in order to reflect the real emotion. Whether it is through photography, video, audio, or a story, we as journalists should be able to reflect back to the audience the feeling of that single moment captured in time and why it is relevant.
