Wow the pointer multimedia projects were intense. However, i was wondering if the "The New Dawn?" story would have been as powerful as it was without music. The second and third place "Malboro Marine" and "1001 Nights" were powerful pieces but they did not have music or minimal music. And if they did it was recorded background from a juke box or someone playing piano/guitar. The music in "The New Dawn?" is actually purchased from a variety of artists and it does create a vary powerful and emotional atmosphere in the story. Does that not count as manipulation of media?
